This is an amazing 7 days offer of true wildlife adventure in Africa’s favorite destinations; Kenya and Tanzania. You will come face to face with the different mammals you have ever read in magazines or seen on documentaries such as the Elephants, Buffaloes, Rhinos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, cheetah, lions and leopards among others, together with birds such as the flamingos and ostriches and the world’s largest crater; the Ngorongoro crater.
You will visit Lake Nakuru national park, Masai Mara national park, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro crater. The trip starts in Kenya and ends in Tanzania, and handled by experts. You will engage in game viewing, nature walk, sightseeing and photography among others.
Detailed safari
Day 1: Pickup and Lake Nakuru national park
Upon arriving at the airport, our company guide will meet and brief you about this amazing seven-day safari across two of Africa’s top travel destinations with unmatched attractions. You will sip a cup of tea as the conversation progresses and lunch thereafter, before embarking on a 4-5 hours’ drive to Lake Nakuru national park; home of flamingoes, plus several mammals and birdlife.
The drive is on tarmac and maram road, crossing undulating hills, locals carrying on with their daily chores, and green plantations spread along the way. Dinner and overnight sums up the day.
Day 2: Explore Lake Nakuru national park
You will welcome this day with a yummy breakfast, before joining your guide for a full-day exploration of Lake Nakuru national park; visiting all corners in search of the mammals such as the prey’s and predators feeding, resting or hunting.
If you are lucky enough, expect to encounter the cats (lions, leopards, and cheetah) in action, whereas other mammals such as elephants, buffalos, hippos, antelopes, giraffes, zebras, and warthogs are common since they are big in size and feed in open pasture.
4-5 hours of search it will be, before enjoying a mouthwatering picnic lunch and then 2-3 hour views of the Flamingos together with other birds such as kingfisher spread at the shores of Lake Nakuru. Take photos, and ask all questions before a sunset drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara National park-evening game drive
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge for a 3-4 hours’ drive to Masai Mara national park, Kenya’s top travel destination and home to Africa’s big 5. You will depart the park while enjoying fascinating landscape views, games, and unique bird species.
Proceed with watching the undulating hills and natives waving while bidding you farewell on your journey to the mother of nature.
Upon your arrival, enjoy a delicious Lunch Meal and relaxation, before having a briefing by the park stewards, followed by 3-4 hours of evening game drive in search for Night Hunters such as hyenas, lions, leopards and Hippos among others such for prey such as the Jackson hartebeest among others.
Day 4: Game drive and Masai cultural experience
At sunrise, you will depart the lodge for 4-5 hours’ game drive across Masai Mara reserve in search for Africa’s Big five (lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, and elephants) plus several other mammals such as zebras, cheetahs, giraffes, warthogs, rare antelope species and wildebeests among others.
There are also over 550 recorded bird species including the ostriches and flamingos to look out for and unique bird species among others. Thereafter, enjoy a delicious bush breakfast, followed by lunch in the lodge and then an active evening with the Masai warriors who will entertain you through thrilling dances, stories, and demonstrations. They will show you there local manyattas, spears, and cultural outfits.
We encourage you to support the community by donating some cash or any other material stuff, as well as buying their souvenirs before driving back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
You will check out of the lodge as soon as breakfast is done for an epic drive to Serengeti national park; Tanzania’s Number one wildlife destination and a host of the annual wildebeest migration.
The drive is defined by flourishing green plantations, undulating hills, and stunning attractions among others. At the Kenya – Tanzania border post, you will verify your documents and get cleared, followed by lunch, before proceeding with the drive to your lodge at the park. Expect to encounter few mammals roaming in the wild, followed by dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6: Morning game drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro crater
At sunrise, you will have breakfast, followed by a 4-5 hours’ morning game drive in the vast savannah grassland with the world’s highest wildlife concentration. You will explore the fascinating landscape as you look out for the mammals such as the lions, elephants, leopards, cheetah, buffalos, hyenas, antelopes, rhinos, and the wildebeest among others. Birds, reptiles, and unique tree species are available.
Thereafter, return to the lodge for lunch, before checking out of the lodge for a drive to Ngorongoro crater; the world’s largest Crater and one of the seven wonders, hosting several big and small mammals, birds and rare tree species. Refreshment, dinner, and overnight will mark the end of today.
Day 7: Top of the crater rim hike and departure.
Top of the Ngorongoro crater hike follows a heavy breakfast at the lodge. Your guide will take you for this amazing activity at the top of the crater rim, offering you a chance of glancing at the hideout of some primates and Africa’s Big 5 (rhinos, elephants, buffalos, lions, and leopards) together with several other mammals and birds.
You are free to take as many photos as possible at the crater, before driving back to the lodge for lunch, and then checking out for a drive to the airport to catch-up with a flight.
